JFSC offers a Basic Needs Program as a complementary component to services provided
by the agency.

These value added services include:

• Financial assistance to individuals and families who cannot find the necessary resources anywhere.
• Assistance to prevent homelessness with financial support for affordable housing to the working poor/starting a new job, new immigrants, leaving an abusive relationship, seniors, single person/family and people living on AISH/disability.
• Kosher food pantry supplements low income clients' grocery budgets by supplying basic sustaining food items. Both kosher and non-kosker diets are provided for.
