While the needs of the vulnerable in our community are always forefront in our minds, JFSC must also confront the ongoing realities of overhead, staffing, and infrastructure expenses to be able to deliver these much needed services. Through your annual donation to our Friends of Jewish Family Service Calgary campaign, you keep the eternal light burning in our organization that allows us to:
- Help approximately 140 clinical counselling clients
- Accompany 143 senior clients to appointments for translation in the Medical Interpretation Program
- Find meaningful employment for 264 individuals
- Provide approximately 150 individuals, seniors and families with emergency financial and/or housing assistance through our Basic Needs Program.
- Resettle 95 individuals from Argentina, Israel and Russia
- Employ a growing team of 23 full and part-time experienced staff
