JFSC Proud Recipient of the Calgary Herald's Christmas Fund

The Calgary Herald is pleased to announce that Jewish Family Service Calgary has been selected as one of the 12 recipients of the Calgary Herald’s 24th annual Christmas Fund.

This is the first time that a Jewish organization has been selected for the fund.

Since its launch in 1991 by newsroom employees, the Calgary Herald Christmas Fund has raised more than $21 million for many wonderful and worthy charities, and we are pleased to add Jewish Family Service Calgary to the list of charities that make up Calgary’s social safety net.

The success of the annual campaign is dependent on public support. We hope that you will consider supporting this year’s campaign in support of Jewish Family Service Calgary, The Alex Dental Health Bus, Boys and Girls Clubs of Calgary, Calgary Drop-In Centre, Calgary Food Bank, Calgary Outlink: Centre for Gender and Sexual Diversity, Canadian Centre for Male Survivors of Child Sexual Abuse, Canadian Mental Health Association-Calgary Region, Distress Centre Calgary, Fresh Start Recovery Centre, Hospice Calgary and The YWCA Mary Dover House.

To support the Calgary Herald Christmas Fund, please donate online at www.heraldchristmasfund.com or www. christmasfund.ca, or by clipping out the donation form found on page A5 of the print version and mailing it with your donation to the attached address.

For those interested in calling in, please dial 403.235.7481, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Thank you so much for considering supporting this year’s campaign. Your contribution will go towards making the world a better place for everyone.
