About Jacob Samuel

Known for his clever and insightful comedy, Jacob Samuel is an award-winning Canadian stand-up comic, cartoonist, and writer based in Vancouver, BC. His TV performances have featured nationally on CBC Television, The Comedy Network, Crave, and CBC Gem. On radio, Jacob can be heard on Sirius XM and CBC's "The Debaters." He has appeared multiple times at both the Montreal Just for Laughs and Winnipeg Comedy Festivals. In 2021, Jacob won the Juno Award for “Comedy Album of the Year” for his debut album Horse Power.

As a single-panel cartoonist, Jacob has published two books and has been published in The New Yorker and several other major publications. His latest cartoons are always available on instagram.
